Let the children peek into the exciting world of music!
Children's book + CD with music "Piano Animals. Explorations of Katmandu the Fly"

This book is based on a collection of piano pieces by Katri Rebane, called "Piano Pieces for the Cheerful Mood", which mark the beginning of a friendship between piano animals and so many children engaged with music. The life of piano animals started to evolve imperceptibly and so they ended up in this book and on the CD.

Between these covers Katmandu the Fly, always adventurous, becomes suddenly an explorer after having made an emergency landing in an old grand piano. There the miraculous world of Piano Animals with all its inhabitants opens up to him. As an experienced traveller, he uses a dictaphone and a diary to record all his ideas and interesting encounters.

These recordings can be found on the CD attached to the book cover and include the adventures of each character told both in a story and a piece of music. Even though listening to instrumental music allows us to imagine and create our own world, Katmandu the Fly is here to help us listen to and see every character through his eyes – to our great joy and contentment. For ages 4-10, in Estonian.
